Craniosacral Health Sydney with David Lane
Helping people release stress and pain and feel well again through Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy’s gentle, light-touch, non-invasive therapy.
Maybe you seem to feel anxious or depressed most of the time for no clear reason and find it hard to connect to the joy in life.
Perhaps you are recovering from surgery, or an accident and you want to do all you can, so that your body heals as quickly and completely as possible.
Are you tired because the demands of life are pulling you in too many directions, fragmenting and depleting your energy.
If this sounds like you, take heart … you’re in the right place!
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST) is a gentle, light-touch therapy that helps restore and maintain health in the human body, focusing on the inherent healing capacity that exists within your body.
BCST supports the safe release of pain, tension and trauma stored in the body, making it effective for people of all ages.
The physical craniosacral system governs the health of the nervous system and also affects every other system in the body. The biodynamic approach to the craniosacral system is a holistic one, addressing the physical body as well as its fluid and energetic systems, each of which plays an important role in supporting our mental and emotional well-being.
Whilst not a manipulative therapy, BCST has its roots in osteopathy and has since evolved to include key treatment principles from neuroscience, pre and perinatal psychology and trauma resolution.
Many people find BCST deeply relaxing and calming, often finding symptomatic relief from a wide variety of health conditions including sore and tight muscles, stress, tension, anxiety, depression, headaches, poor sleep, fatigue, low energy and the physical release of trauma.
BCST practitioners are trained to facilitate the resolution of conditions resulting from stress, overwhelm and injury, working with you to create the right conditions to gently and gradually move the nervous system out of fight, flight and freeze states.
After booking your first session, you will receive a simple, 2-page questionnaire to be completed prior to the first session.
There are three parts to a Session:
1. Pre-session discussion – review your questionnaire, covering your current health and relevant parts of your medical history.
2. Session – this part of the session is the therapeutic body work, which takes up the majority of the appointment time.
It starts with the client lying down, fully clothed on a treatment table.
Through gentle touch, the practitioner listens for any compensatory patterns that may be present and makes light, non-invasive contact on different areas of your body such as the feet, spine, the middle or upper part of your body or head.
During the treatment, you may experience a wide variety of bodily sensations, including feeling deep relaxation and releasing of physical tension. Clients often find themselves falling asleep or feeling energy moving in or through various parts of the body.
By the end of the session, clients tend to have returned to a calm and well-regulated physical, mental and emotional state.
3. Post-session discussion – to see how you are feeling following the session, answer any questions you may have and discuss the next steps to be taken.
All sessions are by appointment only, available between 10am-7pm on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Sessions are held in professional treatment rooms in Sydney CBD. The address will be provided after booking a session.
Payment via cash or credit card are accepted and payable on the day, after the session is completed

Hi, I’m David Lane, and thanks for taking the time to visit my website.
I am a Registered Craniosacral Therapist (RCST) with the Pacific Association of Craniosacral Therapists, having fully completed a two-year practitioner training program in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST) with Body Intelligence between December 2020 and December 2022.
It is now a real privilege and joy to be able to offer BCST Sessions and help people find relief and support for a wide variety of health-related challenges.
Outside of work, I love walking in nature, dancing, seeing live music and doing regular meditation and qigong practices.
Please get in touch with me if you are interested in finding out how BCST can help you release stress and pain, and also provide more energy in life to do the things that you love.
